Marblehead girls' hockey team "stopped" by Bishop Fenwick, ease by Matignon in weekend games, according to Header coach Emily Hudak (12/22/14)

On Saturday, the MHS girls hockey team tied Bishop Fenwick 0-0 away at Peabody. MHS goalie, Aly Hopkins had 10 saves. BF goalie stopped 35 shots.

Sunday morning at Salem State, MHS defeated Matignon 9-2. Aly Hopkins had 10 shots. MHS took 46 shots.

North Shore Bank's Player of the Month:
Danvers running back/linebacker Richie Martino

The Danvers Falcons football team had a successful November in large part due to the running of "wildcat" back Richie Martino who led the offense. And, on Thanksgiving Day, Martino led Danvers to their first win over Gloucester in 10 years, rushing for 141 yards on 30 carries, scoring all three touchdowns and playing a monster game on defense. Martino's leadership ensured that the Falcons successfully completed their second winning season in a row.
