Gloucester Icon Falls
The "Greasy Pole," an icon in Gloucester since the 1920s, has fallen into Gloucester Habor. Walking the greasy pole is one of the sports highlights of St. Peter's Fiesta the last week in June each year. The entire structure collapsed early this morning.
